10:26 The daintiest of the dracaenas, Dracaena sanderiana is a slow-growing, slender, upright shrub from the tropical rain forests of Cameroon.
It is sometimes called ribbon plant, on account of its narrow, slightly twisted leaves of deep gray-green with broad creamy white margins that grow to 9in/23cm long and lin/2.5cm wide, and is perfect where space is limited. 
The plant rarely branches from the base, so three or four specimens should be planted together in a large planter to create an interesting mass of spilcy foliage. Provided it is not scaldingly hot, this plant can tolerate standing close to a radiator, but cold drafts can be detrimental.

POTTING MIX Soil-based.
REPOTTING Only when necessary. Once plants are in 5-in/13-cm pots, top-dress with fresh soil annually.
PROPAGATION Take stem, tip, and basal cuttings in spring. Stem cuttings, 3-4in/8-10cm long, will root readily if set upright in a peat and sand mixture and kept warm. Root tip cuttings in a propagator; basal shoots with some roots will grow if enclosed in a plastic bag.
KEEPING PLANTS Keep the plant in a protected spot.

- Bright, filtered light enhances the leaf color. Minimum winter temperature of 50°F/10°C; normal room temperature in summer.
- Water plentifully when in active growth, more sparingly in winter, O Feed every 2 weeks from spring to early fall with weak liquid fertilizer.
- Mealybugs may inhabit the leaf axils, and scale insects may attach themselves to the leaves and stems; check regularly for signs of these pests.
- Rotting stems and leaves are an indication of over watering.
