🤷INDOOR PLANT🤷Clianthus Puniceus Leguminosae PARROT’S BEAK Plant Care Tips

21:56 Clianthus Puniceus indoor house plant care guide propagation method and potted wallpaper pictures
Also known as kaka beak and lobster claw, Clianthus puniceus has flowers with a large showy standard and a long pointed keel, from which it gets its common names.
The flowers, which start off red and fade to pink as they age, are borne in clusters from summer to late fall.
The thin stems of C. puniceus need support when it is grown as a free-standing shrub, and it is an excellent subject for training against a wall trellis in a cool room or greenhouse. dgd-2593429

The closely related C.frrmosus, Sturt’s desert pea or glory pea, is a relatively low-growing, trailing plant, with feathery leaves some 6in/l5cm long.
The stems may be pruned or trained in the fall when flowering is over, but the plant often declines at this time and it is best regarded as an annual.
